APSEMO conducted an in-house training on Basic DRRM for its personnel on June 4-5 in Sorsogon, aiming to level up awareness on basic DRRM principles. The activity assessed staff awareness, serving as a basis for succeeding capacity-building initiatives and ensuring sustainability .

This WFP’s support to the DRR program of Albay and LGUs will enhance Albay’s Vulnerability and Capacity Assessment process, enabling evidence-based planning and decision-making for disaster risk reduction, while providing APSEMO an opportunity to share its experience and existing programs in DRRM.
