Today, August 19, 2025, marks the 2nd Day of Public Service Continuity Planning (PSCP) Training hosted by PGA -APSEMO, in partnership with OCD 5 and World Food Programme.

Dr. Cedric Daep, former APSEMO Head, provided insights emphasizing the prioritization of safety of employees, assets, and facilities, as well as the timely restoration of lifelines during major disruptions of services.

PLGU Albay, represented by PHO and PEO, MDRRMO Malilipot and CDRMMO Ligao presented outputs on identified critical assets and existing capacities and resources, risk analysis, and lastly, risk evaluation and control using risk assessment tool.

All participants are also expected to submit individual outputs within the day.

APSEMO, together with the Albay humanitarian team, has started serving families affected by Severe Tropical Storm ‘Opong’ in Barangays Syndicate, Panique, Bangon, and Aroroy in Masbate. The team has provided potable water to residents to ensure a sufficient water supply as the community strives to recover from the storm’s impact.
