This WFP’s support to the DRR program of Albay and LGUs will enhance Albay’s Vulnerability and Capacity Assessment process, enabling evidence-based planning and decision-making for disaster risk reduction, while providing APSEMO an opportunity to share its experience and existing programs in DRRM.
The APSEMO Mapping Section Team, under the Research and Statistics Division, is participating in the 5-day TRAINING ON GEOGRPAHIC INFORMATION SYSTEMS FOR CLIMATE AND DISASTER RISK ASSESSMENT@ in Naga City from June 9 to 13, organized by World Food Progam (WFP) in support to DRR programs of Albay and LGUs.
