APSEMO extends its warmest congratulations to the three (3) applicants of Albay EMS and 20 from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) who completed the 20-day Emergency Medical Training Basic [EMT-B] Course.

The EMT-B course was hosted by PGA through the expertise of the APSEMO-Albay EMS, headed by Mr. Eugene Escobar. The graduates were conferred by Engr. Dante Baclao, OIC Department Head of APSEMO, during their graduation ceremony today, March 31, 2025 held at the Albay PDOC, attended by distinguished guests, including OPFM Albay FSUPT Jerickson P Miraflor, Provincial Fire Marshal.

With the completion of this training, the BFP are now further equipped to provide critical emergency medical services to Albayanos.

APSEMO, together with the Albay humanitarian team, has started serving families affected by Severe Tropical Storm ‘Opong’ in Barangays Syndicate, Panique, Bangon, and Aroroy in Masbate. The team has provided potable water to residents to ensure a sufficient water supply as the community strives to recover from the storm’s impact.
