3rd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill 2025

APSEMO, in partnership with BFP Albay, led Albay’s participation in the 3rd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill at the Albay Engineering Office. Engr. Dante Baclao served as Incident Commander.

Participating agencies included BFP Camalig and Albay EMS, which acted as responders and medics; PEO CSU, which served as the SRR team; and Albay PIO, which handled documentation.

BFP Albay evaluated the drill, focusing on response efficacy, coordination, and adherence to DRR standards.

The drill concluded with an evaluation session identifying strengths and areas for improvement to be addressed in future drills.

APSEMO, together with the Albay humanitarian team, has started serving families affected by Severe Tropical Storm ‘Opong’ in Barangays Syndicate, Panique, Bangon, and Aroroy in Masbate. The team has provided potable water to residents to ensure a sufficient water supply as the community strives to recover from the storm’s impact.
